Dino Babers picked up his second former UND defensive back.

Former Notre Dame defensive back Mykelti Williams is transferring to Syracuse, he announced on Wednesday night.

The 6-foot, 200-pound safety redshirted his first year at UND and last year played at Iowa Western Community College. He played at Warren Central (Indiana) High School and was ranked with three stars coming out of high school.

Williams is the fourth JUCO player to transfer to Syracuse in this recruiting class and the second former Notre Dame defensive back. He has three years of eligibility left and will be allowed to play immediately.
